SK Korkmas is a writer, but above all, a storyteller. Drawing on her experiences as an Uyghur American and an educator, she creates stories rich in culture and imagination, shaped by a life lived between two worlds, the homeland she comes from and the one she immigrated to.

Her goal in writing is simple: to entertain, to inspire, and to bring joy to her readers.
